Split Bean Coffees Products are Handmade
As our loyal customers know, Split Bean Coffees products are handmade by actual human beings and have an expiration date. We don't package them up and wait for you to order because we want you to have the freshest cookies, coffees, chocolates, and truffles possible. Because of this attention to freshness and quality, we sometimes get backed up, especially after being featured on any National Publication or around holidays! We appreciate your understanding! Please be sure to inform us if your shipment requires a signature for delivery. We are not responsible for items delivered to an unsecured complex. We will gladly ship your package with the signature required option for your security. Just email us at coffee@splitbeancoffee.com or state Signature Required on your order. |
Shipping and Ordering Processing Time
The following is our "standard" service level based on an ideal situation and based on the USPS Priority two-day delivery service (This does not include Special Holiday Orders - i.e. Valentine's Day, Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day...to name a few). If your order is received on Monday before noon, it will be processed that day and normally shipped on Wednesday. With a two-day USPS Priority Mail Service, you should have your order by Friday of that week. Since all of our goods are hand made in small batches, and everything is made to order, processing your order during a high-volume period may take one week (7 working days), plus shipping time. Please call us if you have any questions. Priority Mail is not trackable, nor is it guaranteed by to arrive within 2 postal days.
We offer Express Shipping
for an additional fee for time sensitive packages. Please contact us for details. Do keep in mind that during standard Holidays suchs as Christmas, Valentine's Day, and Mother's Day neither UPS nor The USPS Guarantee Next Day delivery to some areas. If you live in the major metropolitan area of Los Angeles & the San Fernando Valley, we can arrange personal delivery, in which case if your order is placed by Monday noon, your order will be processed for delivery on Tuesday. We do not deliver Sundays. Because we don't like to have our products sit in a hot storage/transfer facility do not ship on Fridays or Saturdays, unless the customer requests. If you prefer, we can also ship your order via UPS, however, please keep in mind that UPS has a five business day transit time for shipments going to the East Coast. We highly recommend Express Shipment for time sensitive packages, as we can not guarantee transit time for packages that are not guaranteed by either UPS or USPS.
